Southern Blvd Reconstruction Phase IIA - Nicklaus Channel is one of three phases for Southern Blvd from Golf Course Rd to Commercial Dr. Phase IIA consists of reconstruction of the Nicklaus Channel at Southern Blvd, east of Nicklaus Dr. The project includes retaining walls, new box culverts and erosion control. The design is funded with City funds (approximately $1,050,000) and Federal funds (approximately $1,800,000). These funds include the cost for Southern Blvd Reconstruction Phase IIA (Nicklaus Channel) and Phases IIB & IIC (Golf Course Rd to Commercial Dr).

September 2022: Additional Project Phasing - Phase IIB (Golf Course Rd to 24th St) and Phase IIC (24th St to Commercial Dr)
May 2022: Public meeting
April 2022: Complete 90% (Phase IIA & IIB)
November 2021: Public meeting
