The City of Rio Rancho utilizes the CodeRED Emergency Notification System for public notifications during an emergency, such as a disaster or evacuation notice.
This important and useful tool allows the City to notify (via cellular phone, text message, or email) specific areas within the City in case of an emergency that requires immediate action.
Residents can also download the CodeRED app, which is available in the App Store and Google Play. When signing up, residents can choose how they want to be notified--phone call, text message, or email. When entering your address for registration, you must put your full address, including Street, Boulevard, Road, etc., and the ordinal directions (NW, SW, SE, NE, etc.).
