1. Who do I call when I see a City vehicle disobeying the traffic laws?: Please call (505) 891-5016 so that we can help direct you to the proper manager to explain your complaint.

2. Who takes care of the City vehicles?: All City vehicles, with the exception of heavy equipment, is maintained and repaired by the Fleet Maintenance Section of the Department of Public Works.

3. What happens to decommissioned vehicles and can I buy one?: Please see our Fleet Maintenance Section page to find information on the decommissioning process.

4. Where do City vehicles get their fuel?: The City purchases its fuel for all of its vehicles and has a designated fuel pump area for its vehicles.This fuel pump area is owned and operated by the City for City use only.

5. Can I buy City fuel?: No.City fuel is for City vehicles use only.

6. What happens to used oil, batteries, and tires from City vehicles?: Used oil, batteries, and tires are disposed of in accordance to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards.
