Seed Library

The Seed Library is a collection of fruit, vegetable and flower seeds that you can borrow to plant at home. The Seed Library is also a place for you to return/exchange seeds you have harvested for others to borrow and plant. Seed libraries are available in the lobbies at both Rio Rancho libraries. Please only take what you will use.

The seed collection is dependent on donations and availability. Different seeds will be available at different times during the year, check back often to see what is available. For more information on growing in Sandoval County please visit the Sandoval County Master Gardener website here.

Garden Tool Kits

Garden tool kits are a kit containing one rounded cultivator, one square cultivator, one transplanter, one trowel, and one gardening tips binder. Kits are available to check out for 3 weeks, can be placed on hold and renewed if there is not waiting list.

This program is made possible by a grant from  "Resilient Communities: Libraries Respond to Climate Change, a pilot program of the American Library Association.”
