Teen Volunteer Program

While the library is not currently offering in-person volunteer opportunities, there are still ways to help the library and your community from home. Teens ages 13-19 can earn volunteer credit hours in the following ways.

Book Reviews (1 hour)

Read a book in the library's collection and tell us what you think! Book reviews may be featured on in-person book displays, in our newsletter, or on library social media (with permission). The library must have a physical copy of the book in the teen section, and it must have been published in the last 5 years. Fill out this form to review a book.

Book Lists (1 hour)

Make a list of books around a theme! The library uses book lists to help people discover books in our collection. Your book list might get turned into a book display or featured on the library's social media pages. Submit your book list using this form.

Got an Idea?

We're always looking for creative ways to support literacy in our community! If you have an idea for a socially-distanced volunteer project, send us an email at libraryteens@rrnm.gov.
